Hole Mill - a truly special place

What an incredible stay at Hole Mill. We had the most memorable time where all three generations could relax: grandparents drinking wine on the sunny patio and kids swimming in the most glorious natural swimming pool. The house is stunning, well equipped and has obviously been lovingly restored to a high standard whilst retaining its historic features and charm. It's set in the divine Devon countryside, surrounded by rolling hills and woods, yet walkable to the beach (where there is a lovely cafe and sauna) and over the hill to the pub. Thanks Ian for hosting us, we'll definitely look forward to another stay.

Wonderful week with family

The outdoor grounds. Children loved exploring the stream, the trampoline, the natural swimming pond and beautiful garden for playing. Beautiful peaceful surroundings.

Wonderful Bank Holiday Break

The property was in a quiet valley where we could walk in shade on a hot Bank Holiday weekend. The pond had newts and dragonflies and was a wonderful place for the children to see nature. All the amenities were first class, kitchen, dining area, lounge, games room, bedrooms and bathrooms and gave our large extended family space to have fun.

For three years running, our group of friends—held together loosely by a shared enthusiasm for getting in the water—has stayed at Hole Mill. It’s simply the nicest place, ever. We’ll be back. It seems only sensible

Beautiful property — pictures don't do it justice! Kitchen and bedrooms are a dream to stay in and the outside stream and pond is magical on a summer's day. Family of 10 with 2 kids and we had a lovely 4-day stay. Would definitely recommend.

Nine of us stayed at Hole Mill for four nights in October. The property is just like in the pictures — private, spacious, clean and full of character, set in beautiful grounds. The games room and selection of games provided kept us entertained in the evening, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would highly recommend Hole Mill.

There were 12 adults in our group and we made the most of the ping-pong table and swimming pond too!
